Beautiful restaurant! Celebrated a special occasion with a large group and they were very accommodating. Excellent service and great menu. I would however say they are slightly overpriced when competing with some of the top restaurants in North Scottsdale. I would recommend with so many other restaurants in the area they need to find a way to set themselves apart from competition.
We had a large group of 8 celebrating some events in the group and The Americano was a fantastic spot to celebrate. It blends a fun and elegant vibe, making it the ideal spot for a memorable dining experience. The appetizers were incredible, and the table-side mozzarella was both delicious and entertaining. The steak entrees were cooked well and we really enjoyed the pasta options. We also had several smoked cocktail options. Kevin and Sean were the highlight of the evening with their dedication to ensuring we had an amazing time. If you're looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a lively yet refined atmosphere, The Americano is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Took a bit longer they were busy but it was well worth the wait bombastic for sure I will be back soon
Excellent food and service! Our waiter Sean G was great the bone marrow and bolognese were amazing. My husband really enjoyed his ribeye. We topped off the evening with the cheesecake which was so perfect and fluffy. A great evening. Downstairs is the speak easy tell your friends.
The Americano is dimly lit with private booth seating, perfect for a cozy night out. The sexy ambiance is complemented by cool artwork, great service, and delicious appetizers and pasta that truly hit the spot! Between their smoked tomato butter oysters & bottled Diet Coke's, this place has a special place in my heart.
Amazing food, service and ambiance! First time here and fell in love. Definitely a vibe. There is a speak easy in the back for those over 21. I love steak and pasta and The Americano has all the offerings. From cocktail program to food menu... absolutely obsessed. Shout out to the Chef!
Delicious food, fantastic ambience and great service.. Our server was from Kansas and was so genuinely kind and prompt with everything. Don't forget to ask about their secret door... I'll leave that for you to find..
First of the place is stunning and nicely decorated. I felt like I wasn't in AZ. Very upscale. We were celebrating a special birthday! Bummed to find out that the speakeasy wasn't open. Also sad how sparsely the restaurant was when we arrived, and the hostess wanted to sit us in the back near the kitchen and swinging doors! (Why do they do that?). We request a nice booth in the back and they were able to accommodate. Gavin was our server and he was awesome. He made darn sure we were happy and satisfied. Everything is a bit pricey (glasses of wine $20) and the menu is very limited. We all shared the lobster risotto. It was amazing!! However it could use more risotto for the over $100 price tag. We had to send a side back, way too spicy and Gavin returned with a fresh dish and more risotto. And yes he took it off our bill. All in all an amazing time. Service was impeccable.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant recently. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm, friendly service, and the beautiful décor created an ambiance that made the evening even more special. The food was simply outstanding. The table side mozzarella was quite unique. The heirloom tomatoes' juiciness and texture gave an overall deliciously full-bodied experience, making each bite burst with a naturally fresh, garden-grown flavor. I just wish this appetizer was accompanied with bread. We all shared the porterhouse, cooked to perfection according to our preferences, along with the American wedge salad, the pomodoro spaghetti, and the spaghetti alla Nerano. Though the pasta portions were on the smaller side, they were bursting with flavor and a true testament to the artistry of Italian cuisine. Each bite transported us to Italy, a remarkable tribute to authentic pasta-making. We also appreciated the generous portions overall, with plenty of food for everyone to enjoy and share. We look forward to another memorable dining experience at the Americano.
The atmosphere is so cool and the food is amazing! Our service was slow for a Tuesday night seemed like the bar shouldn't be that backed up. Versace on the floor drink was great - there was a hint of spice on the tail end. The bone marrow pasta was so rich and delicious! The octopus and burrata were favorite apps. The vision was creamy rich and delicious.
